Basic abilities assessments

Students must meet the following standards in order to graduate:

1. Service-Learning
2. English Competency
3. Information Technology Competency
4. Chinese Competency
5. Basic Sports Competency
6. Basic Professional Competency

Basic Core Competencies

Students should meet the following standards in the semester:

1. Statistical Analysis：
   (A) Obtaining admission from graduate programs domestic or abroad, or passing elementary or specialized exams held by the ministry of examination.
   (B) Passing “Basic Statistics” exam held by the department.
2. Information Technology：
   (A) Acquire one of the certifications below
   (B) Passing the “Statistical Software Package” exam held by the department.
3. Statistics Related Abilities：Acquire any of the related track or program certification.
4. Research Project Execution Ability：Passing the oral exam and written report review.

Graduation Credit Threshold

Graduation Credits: Must earn 128 credits to graduate. Credits include:

1. university required courses
2. general education
3. professional required courses
4. professional elective courses (ASIS and other departments)
